David was pretty excited on the way to San Diego. It was a 25 hour drive but he was full of energy the whole way. I took this photo just about an hour outside of Spokane. He was at least 10 times this when he finally hit San Diego
A few hours into our trip we stopped by a gas station a few miles out of LA and got some gas and food. David grabbed my camera and shot this photo of me being cold. You cant tell from the photo but i was wearing shorts and flip flops.
We took a trip down to the pier the first day we were there and saw these two. We all thought the same thing, "what's up her skirt," but David and Jake took it upon themselves to find the answer. It turned out her legs just merged into the rest of her body. Needles to say David was pretty bummed.
This is David looking out at the ocean and in the background you can see the aircraft carrier with a restaurant on it. We didn't get a chance to go onboard because we were all broke but just looking at it from the outside was amazing those things are huge.
All good things come to an end. We hit up China town is San Francisco on the way back and got the best Chinese food i have ever had . We walked around for a while and stumbled into a few shops filled with everything an asian could ever need.
San Diego was an amazing trip, Jake, David, Fawn, James and I all had a ton of fun. We spent most nights at the Journalism convention in the Marriot hotel a few miles away from our Ghetto inn. We shelled out 20 bucks for a cab every night except the last night when me and david didn't want to spent our last night in San Diego sleeping beside Jake. So me and David found some really cool girls from york, Pennsylvania to hang out with for the night. Let me just say I woke up sunday morning with Mandee on my right, David on my left, and Meg right beside him. It was a great trip and we made some really good friends. We all miss San Diego already.
